2. Is it difficult to find gluten free products in grocery stores?
Absolutely not, gluten free options are getting bigger and better. All major supermarkets now have a dedicated Free From section or aisle in many of their stores. There are also lots of products labelled gluten free around the store so keep an eye out and remember to check the ingredients and allergen warnings.
3. Can I still enjoy my favourite foods?
Yes! It can seem daunting, but there are so many ingredients and foods that are naturally gluten free, or have amazing gluten free alternatives meaning that you can easily create a gluten free meals that everyone will enjoy. We have a number of fantastic recipes right here on this site.

4. How can I make breakfast and lunches without gluten containing bread?
We have a range of Deliciously Gluten Free loaves, rolls and morning goods including pancakes and crumpets that make it easier than ever to make the switch without having to feel like you are missing out on the taste and quality you deserve.
5. Will it be difficult to prepare meals everybody will enjoy?
Not at all – meal time does not need to be difficult. There are of plenty of delicious options in many stores and tonnes of gluten free meals, recipes and ingredients online. Whether you’re making substitutions to gluten free equivalents or finding naturally gluten free recipes, there’s lots to choose from.
6. Will it be difficult to eat out?
Since Genius launched in 2009, the availability of fresh Gluten Free and Free From food has hugely improved. Many restaurants and cafes provide exciting and tasty menu options for gluten free lunch and dinner. Coeliac UK have a list of accredited gluten free partners which is really useful especially when travelling around the UK.
7. How do I navigate eating at other peoples houses or creating options for guests?
The hardest part of all of this can be educating other people on your dietary needs. We recommend sharing a list of your favourite products in advance to make doing the pre-occasion shop easier for your hosts or offer to take ingredients with you.

8. Will we be able to go on holiday and eat safely safely?
The good news is that gluten free food is now easily found in supermarkets home and abroad. But it’s also easy-peasy to fill your suitcases with a good range of gluten free snacks, boxes of cereal, dairy free milk, bread and other bakery products to keep you going throughout your trip. To protect your precious cargo in transit, pack wisely and put foods that might get squashed into cardboard boxes before adding them to your case.
Self-catering can also be very helpful as it gives you the freedom to cook wonderful food that is safe for the whole family. It also gives the opportunity to enjoy experimenting with local ingredients.
